Survey, 12.8% of the workers reflected over 5 years, wages have not increased; 2009 23.6% of the workers wages also declined. This makes them feel the average wage increase announced by the Government only “sham” to cover up the different industries, companies growing income gap between the facts.

The survey also showed that by the senior management of research enterprise wage levels much higher than other jobs, and faster growth, its wage levels in 2009 than in 2008, up 25% absolute increase 35,644 yuan, to the production staff 25 times. Executives and production staff the income gap from 2007 to 4.37 times to 5.78 times in 2009.

The meeting pointed out, the Beijing Workers gradually increase the level of wage income, but unreasonable wage distribution, internal and inter-industry wage gap continues to widen; most businesses line the low average wages, the wages of many labor-intensive enterprises in the more long-term stay low levels. Income distribution, the enterprises directly engaged in production, sales, management, front-line positions of the low income workers, has become the focus of attention.
